Lisbon

When my friend Brenda told me she was going to back to Lisbon, taking her dog, staying for a couple of months, and invited me to visit, it seemed stupid not to say "ok!" 

From Brenda's friend David's terrace: 

Amago restaurant: best, most innovative, most exciting meal I've ever had. 

I don't know what must of this was and I wish I had taken notes on the menu. There was 1 seating, 1 table, 10 guests, 2 chefs (Marta and Andre... no sous chefs, no assistants, no serves), and about 12 courses, each one as crazy-delicious as the next.

Cambridge

Greg and I wanted to get to Cambridge when we were in London in February, but since we ran out of time and energy, I decided to come back to the UK in the summer (pet-sitting season) and take the walk through Grantchester Meadows (another location 'as seen on TV') that we weren't able to do last time. That was the highlight in Cambridge, but the university buildings and general vibe of the town were cool too.

Possibly the tree where an apple fell on Isaac Newton's head... probably never happened but it is an apple tree and he did reside in the building behind it.
